| M.Sc. Physics was started in the year 1999 in order to motivate women
to pursue higher education in the field of Physical Science, by providing
a curriculum which strengthens the perspectives on the basic concepts
and theories of the subject and also instills basic research skills. An
ambience that promotes innovative thinking, supports research, enhances
interpersonal and communication skills and cultivates healthy learning
attitude is facilitated. The department aims in providing education to foster
and sustain healthy professional attitudes, develop team spirit and social
responsibilities, thereby , moulding young women Physicists for leadership
in society and capable of meeting the varied challenges in their career. |
