| The Department of Management Studies offers Bachelors Degree in Business
Administration (BBA) and Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. |

| Bachelor of Business Administration started in 1998 aims at providing students with a thorough understanding of the current corporate scene, to facilitate a future business career. This under-graduation course with well researched curriculum offers insight into every facet of management like Human Resource Management, Marketing, Accounting, Production Management etc. The syllabus has also taken into consideration the impact of Information Technology and the significance of the booming service industry. |

| The course is both a preparation for directly stepping into a high-profile job, as well as a prelude to a higher education in management. |

| Eligibility : |
| Students who have completed the Higher Secondary Examination with a minimum of 65% of the Tamil Nadu State Board or its equivalent belonging to any stream can apply.

| Student strength: |
| A maximum of 70 students are admitted every year to the course and 204 students are currently undergoing the degree programme. |

| The two years Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) trains the students, to apply strategic and coherent approach to the management of an organization’s most valued assets – the people working there. The people who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the business. This course includes academic theory and business practice that address the theoretical and practical techniques of managing a workforce.

| Candidates are required to possess a minimum of 50% marks in the main branch of study of any Bachelors degree of the University of Madras or any other University |
